Orientation of 1st year B.Tech. students

It is hereby notified to all students who have been admitted to the 1st year B. Tech courses of this college during the current academic session (2022-23) that  the session will begin on 21.11.2022.(The JEE College level admission closes on 20.11.2022) As per the curriculum  of BPUT, first 3(three) weeks of “Induction classes” will be conducted VIRTUALLY from 21st  November to 8th December 2022.The details of the virtual classes with time slots for different branches will be available at “General Notice” section of the college website www.tat.ac.in (Click “notices” on right panel) on and after 18th November. The in-person regular classes and other activities are scheduled to be held as per the following programme.

Boys and girls who are desirous of staying in the college hostels are required to report at the respective hostels in the campus between 10.00AM to 5.00PM. Allotment of hostel seats * will be made through lottery after payment of hostel charges. Hostel allotment will be on first-cum-first serve basis as per the vacancies available and all registration formalities will be completed on that day.


Date: 10.12.2022 (10.30AM to 11.30AM)

All students of 1st year B.TECH [CSE & CSE (AI & ML) ] will have to be present in the Auditorium for the Orientation Ceremony. Not more than one guardian per student will be allowed to accompany the student to the hall.


Date: 10.12.2022 (3.00.PM to 4.00PM)

All students of 1st year B.TECH (ETC, EEE, CST, CS & IT, MECH, CIVIL & BIO-TECH ) will have to be present in the Auditorium for the Orientation Ceremony. Not more than one guardian per student will be allowed to accompany the student to the hall.

The timetable for classes would have been made available to all students during the Orientation / Hostel allotment. Classes will start at 8AM in the Administrative Block (Block-2). All day scholars will have to make their own arrangements for that day, both for coming to college and for going back. However on that day, they will be allotted their bus routes so as to enable them to use the bus facilities from 13th December 2022 onwards.



 * Institute provides a Cot (No mattress) and a table to every student in the hostel in a 4 seater shared room and we serve Breakfast and two major meals (Lunch & Dinner) as per the pre-notified menu.

NB.: Each student will receive a student kit (on hostel occupancy / orientation) which will include the time table and dress material for college uniform. However college I-card, college blazer and the regular bus pass will be issued in due time after commencement of classes.
