TEST YOUR ENGLISH AGAINST A GLOBAL BENCHMARK
Whether freshers or experienced, all engineering graduates are being tested on their English communication(Both verbal and written) for being recruited by corporate recruiters. Whether a student has been educated in English medium or vernacular medium in school levels, it is very difficult to come up to an accepted global standard unless there is proper testing and certification.. It is not always important to speak English with a British or American Ascent. One has to know how to speak and write correctly while using English as a medium of communication.
Cambridge University of U.K. has always been one of the top universities of the world and is known for its unique efforts for setting benchmarks for English language.
Cambridge English assessments is a part of an organization called “Cambridge University Press” (CUP) which is the authorized arm of Cambridge University to assess students globally and certify them at different levels. There is an arrangement between the Trident Group and Cambridge University Press for conducting tests and issuing global certificationto Trident students who are interested for the purpose and this certification can be used by them as a proof of English language proficiency anywhere in the world.
The fees for taking the above mentioned certification exam are prescribed by Cambridge for Indian students as under.

Unless someone is really proficient in English as of now, we suggest that the first assessment to be taken may be the “BEC Prelims” i.e. at “Preliminary Level”. However, it is the choice of the student to go higher too..
The Cambridge University authorized Master Trainer will conduct a workshop before the actual exam for the interested students and the teachers of our English and T&P departments. This will be aimed at various techniques of successfully getting the certification.
