NOTICE

It has been observed that a few students are appearing for multiple placement drives and are able to get selected in as many as 5 to 7 companies. Eventually however, they will join only one and will refuse the others. At times, some midcap companies offer placements to about 10(Ten) students and finally only two or three join. As a result, they hesitate to include our college in their recruitment list for the subsequent years. Considering such situations, there have been restrictions imposed earlier which are being updated now as under by the training and placement department.

Core Companies

Any student having offers from two companies with salary of Rs.2.4 lakhs or above will not be allowed to take part in any other core company recruitments. He/She may however participate in IT company drives subject to following restrictions.

IT Companies

1. Any student having more than 2 offers with annual CTC package of Rs.3.6 Lakhs or above will not be allowed to take part in any other campus recruitments by companies offering a CTC package of below Rs. 3.6 Lakhs or upto Rs 5.0 Lakhs. However, at the discretion of the Director (Training & Placement) he/she may be allowed to take part in other companies with packages between Rs.5 lakhs and Rs.10 lakhs.
2. All students can however take part in placement drives by companies offering CTC packages of Rs.10 lakhs or above irrespective of whether they already hold other offers in hand. These companies can be considered as “Dream Status” companies for the placement aspirants.
3. Any clarification on this notice can be obtained from the Director (Training & Placement) either through mail or in person.
4. Notwithstanding whatever is stated above, the Director (Training & Placement) will have a discretion to allow student(s) for any placement drives, provided he records the reasons for the same.

This restriction will be effective from 15/12/2022.
