Reliance Retail – SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2020

Reliance Retail Student Internship program is uniquely designed to provide young graduates with the first-hand experience of the modern retail environment and to give them an option to develop skills for a career in Retail. The interns are part of a pan India program wherein they complete a hands-on project involving interaction with customers inside Reliance Retail stores, Jio stores and also at Petro outlets using structured questionnaires, to study and understand shoppers and their buying behavior.

Project Title – Retail Shopper Buying Behaviour & Experience Evaluation across Reliance Retail stores/outlets

Project Description: The Summer Interns will complete a Project on Customer Experience wherein they will interact with customers and collect data using structured questionnaires inside the store and fuel outlets. The Interns will also use Observational techniques to record customers’ buying behavior.

Eligibility Criteria: Students who have completed the first year of a two year full-time program in Business Management or equivalent courses from reputed Management Institutes / Schools / Universities. The students should be willing and enthusiastic to interact with Customers in Retail outlets, they must be out-going and have good communication skills. It would be an advantage if they have communication skills in English, Hindi and the local language in the center they are applying for.

 Duration of the internship: 08 weeks / 02 months program. 6 days a week.

Remuneration: Interns will be paid stipend of Rs.11000/- in a non-metro city and Rs.15000/- in a metro city for 2 months of internship. No relocation would be considered. This project will involve local travel within the city to retail stores/malls. Candidates are expected to make their own travel and stay arrangements within the city.

 PPO/PPI: Eligible interns will be considered for PPO/PPI basis for their internship performance.
