Kind Attention : TCS NQT for 2021 Graduating B.Tech & MCA Students(60% throughout) | Register the latest by 15th Oct 2020
This is to inform all the above students that Tata Consultancy Ltd. (TCS) will be conducting a Recruitment Drive through National Qualifier Test (NQT) from 24th to 26th October 2020.
Eligibility Criteria :
- 60% throughout the academic career
- 1 Backlog is allowed
- Maximum 2 Years Academic Year Gap is allowed
- Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time /correspondence courses will not be considered)
- Applicants with Secondary and/or Senior Secondary courses from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are eligible to apply, Applicants with extended education in the highest qualification(if the other courses are full time) are not eligible.
Important information about NQT:
- Registrations are open on NQT Portal until 17th October 2020 for NQT scheduled on 24th/25th/26th October 2020
- Students are required to register on NQT Portal to get their Registration Number
- Post-registration, students could be batched on any of the above dates for taking up the NQT
- To be considered for the TCS Selection Process, candidates must register at the TCS Next Step Portal, specifying the NQT Registration number
- After the NQT, TCS Applicants’ NQT Score will be taken from TCS iON
- Basis the NQT Score, the shortlisting for the next round will be decided
- TCS Applicants’ who are toppers from NQT will be further given a chance for TCS Digital Selection Process

Online Registration Process :
STEP 1: Register for the entrance/aptitude test on the National Qualifier Test (NQT) website
Registration link: https://learning.tcsionhub.in/hub/national-qualifier-test/
Select the “Subject Test” option in the NQT registration form which includes “Programming Test” to ensure your candidature is considered for TCS Campus
STEP 2: Navigate to TCS Next Step Portal Registration link: https://nextstep.tcs.com
Point to note:
- If you do not have CT/DT reference ID, please click on “Register Now ”, choose “IT” and proceed as appropriate.
- If you already have a CT/DT reference ID then please click on Login and proceed to fill/submit the application form. Upon submission, you would be prompted to the “Apply For Drive ”
- Update your NQT Registration Number obtained in Step 1 and click on Apply
- To confirm your application status for TCS Campus Hiring – Navigate to the ‘Track Your Application ’ tab on the Next Step Portal, the status displayed should be “Applied for drive ”
Important :
- If you are a 2021 YOP (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA) and if you have submitted the application form, click on “Apply for drive ”, update your NQT registration number in the Text box provided and click on “Apply ”.
- If your status is registered please:
- Fill/submit the application form and click on “Apply for drive ”
- Update your NQT registration number in the Text box provided
- Click on “Apply ”
- To confirm your application status for TCS Campus Hiring – Navigate to the ‘Track Your Application ’ tab on the Next Step Portal, the status displayed should be “Applied for drive ”
