Greetings from The Economic Times (Digital) team.

We are pleased to inform you that the registrations for the fourth edition of ET Campus Stars (ETCS) are now open and would like to invite the students to register for India’s largest program that identifies and rewards the brightest engineering minds in the country.

The third edition of ETCS (completed last year) attracted participation from over 49,123 students and 2,000+ engineering colleges. Of these, 104 students made it to the coveted list of ‘Campus Stars’ and were felicitated by The Economic Times.

PROCESS FLOW:

PHASE 1: Aptitude, Cognitive Behavior, and Personality Assessment

The assessment is designed to benchmark the student across all the engineering candidates in the country basis their intellect and personality skills such as

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Spatial Reasoning
  • Verbal Reasoning
  • Learning Agility
  • Logical & Critical Thinking
  • Problem Solving
  • Innovation-Creativity
  • Attention To Detail

PHASE 2: Domain Knowledge Assessment

The second phase of ET Campus Stars has been crafted to gauge the participant’s understanding of their respective domains by evaluating them on their conceptual and theoretical knowledge. This online test evaluates fundamentals of engineering students from 13 core engineering domains and their sub domains.

PHASE 3: Group Leadership & Dynamics

The shortlisted participants will undergo an online group exercise that evaluates them on the following parameters:

  • Ambiguity Resolution
  • Analytical Ability
  • Communication Skills
  • Influencing Ability
  • Building Consensus
  • Ability To Work In Team
  • Performance Under Pressure
  • Clarity Of Thoughts

Furthermore, this phase also ascertains how a participant would respond in a group dynamic and highlights the leadership and team building skills of the participants.

PHASE 4: Meet the Jury

The fourth and the final phase of ET Campus Stars is designed as a one-on-one interaction session with various well-celebrated CXOs of India Inc. Candidates who have been shortlisted for Phase 4 are evaluated on their emotional abilities, strategic thinking and general awareness which pushes them to think out of the box and calibrate their perspective towards a broader view point, both professionally and personally. The jury then selects the candidate for India’s most coveted list of bright engineering students, ET Campus Stars.
