Round 1 of #HackWithInfy 2020\u00a0<strong>will now be conducted on Monday, March 30, 2020.\u00a0<\/strong>A\u00a0detailed email containing all the necessary information has been sent to every participant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are also some cases where the participants successfully attempted Round 1 on Sunday, March 15, 2020. All such participants have been provided an option to participate in Round 1 of the competition again on new dates.\u00a0If these participants choose to reattempt Round 1, will consider their<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>best score out of the two attempts for the final evaluation.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Otherwise,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>they will be evaluated on their last attempt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0All participants will receive two emails \u2013 one from HackerEarth (<a href=\"mailto:support@hackerearth.com\">support@hackerearth.com<\/a>) containing the test link and the other from\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hackwithinfy@infosys.com\">hackwithinfy@infosys.com<\/a>\u00a0containing the instructions for Round 1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>This is an internet based test and can be taken from anywhere. In the current circumstances, we advise each participant to attempt online challenges for Round 1 and Round 2 of the competition in insolation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Rules and instructions for Round 1<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>It is an individual online test of 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes. If test is started at 10 AM, it will have to complete by 1 PM<\/li>\n<li>Participants will have to take the test using the test access link at the time allotted to them in the mail by HackerEarth<\/li>\n<li>Participants can take the test from anywhere. We advise participants to attempt Round 1 in isolation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Browser requirements for the test:<\/strong>\u00a0Google Chrome (latest or version 56), Firefox (latest or version 51) or Safari (version 11.1.2 or above).\u00a0We do NOT recommend Internet Explorer (all versions).<\/li>\n<li>Kindly ensure that students are connected to a stable Internet connection (minimum required speed &#8211; 512kbps)\u00a0 from the time they log in till they complete the challenge.<\/li>\n<li>Test will have 3 problem statements each of which will have a pre-determined score. A participant\u2019s final score will depend on:\n<ul>\n<li>Code Efficiency i.e. the number of test cases that the code passes<\/li>\n<li>Marks are assigned to the questions basis the difficulty level and solutions evaluated accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Negative marking for plagiarism, if found<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>All code submissions are run through a plagiarism detector. In case of plagiarism, all the participants involved will be disqualified from the competition.
