Cape Electric is hiring for the position of “Graduate Engineer Trainee”.
Department: The selected candidate will work in Techno-Sales / Commercial, Research and Development, Business Development, Electrical Design, Project Execution/Installation, Testing and Commissioning departments.

Brief job profile:
- To Represent the company and present the technical solutions to the clients and address the features of the product and its advantages
- To Negotiate commercial terms and finalize orders and follow up oversee the project progress
- To address the queries from the clients about the product specification time to time and handle customer feedback
- To Prepare reports on project progress and coordinate with internal teams to meet the project timeline to ensure customer satisfaction
- To Perform product testing post installation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure the compliance as per required standards
- To Develop and Design solutions based on client needs in accordance with industries specification and standards.
- To Provide technical support, after-sales service, and site inspections as and when required.

Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Electrical, EEE, ECE, EIE)
Batch: Candidates from 2026 passing out batch.
Cut Off: 60% and above in engineering semester average with no backlogs/arrears
Gender: Male & Female both can apply
Number of vacancies: Limited (But hiring strictly depends on the quality of the candidates fulfilling our recruitment parameters).
Job Location: Initially candidates have to work in Chennai / Oragadam from 6 to 8 months. Thereafter depending on company requirement may be transferred anywhere in India.
Training/probation period: 2 years. Initial 3 to 6 months training in factory / production / design. Communications skills, presentation skills and auto cad will be the part of training. Trainees should arrange their own accommodation.
Stipend/Salary Structure:
For candidates under a 4-year training agreement, the compensation structure will be:
Compensation & Benefits:
- First 6 months – Rs. 22,000 Gross per month
- From 7 to 12 months – CTC of Rs. 3 LPA
- From 2nd Year – CTC of Rs. 3.6 LPA
- From 3rd Year – CTC of Rs. 4.3 LPA
- From 4th Year – CTC of Rs. 5.0 LPA
For candidates under a 2-year training agreement:
The above CTC structure of third and fourth year does not apply, and further compensation review will be discussed during Annual appraisal only.
Agreement: GETs are required to commit to a minimum period of employment ranging from 2 to 4 years following the successful completion of the training program. By accepting the appointment, GETs agree to undergo the prescribed training and remain in the company’s employment for the agreed duration. In the event a GET resigns before completing the stipulated service period, they shall be liable to pay damages as specified in the employment agreement.

Joining: After the completion of their final examinations, tentatively from Jun/Jul’26 onwards.

Recruitment/ Selection Process :
Cape Electric Private Limited will follow the following Selection Procedure while recruiting the candidates against the vacancies as mentioned above:
Step 01: Interested candidates have to apply online at the link sent by NextGen Ventures (along with updated resume and photograph). NextGen Ventures will also conduct online Pre-recruitment briefing to the candidates as and when required.
Step 02: Application level screening (To be conducted by NextGen Ventures/Cape | Elimination Round).
Shortlisted candidates have to follow the below process:
Step 03: Company will create a WhatsApp Group with the shortlisted candidates.
Step 04: Company will provide technical videos/ links as study material and candidates will be preparing for their exams. Any doubts can be clarified through WhatsApp (WA) channel
Step 05: Technical Interview (Student will be given with questions on the subject they have been taught, and they have to clear the exams) – To be conducted Cape |Online mode | Elimination round)
Shortlisted candidates will be allowed to sit for the Campus Interview F2F at a later date:
Step 06: Personal Interview – Technical/HR (To be conducted by Cape | F2F| Elimination Round)
Step 07: Finalization of candidates & declaration of final selected candidates list.
Step 08: Offer letters/letter of intent (LOI) of hiring/selecting the candidate will be issued subsequently.
