A NEW CONCEPT IN INTERNSHIP AND PLACEMENT
Some brilliant start-up companies set up in Odisha by young entrepreneurs have decided to be associated with a few technical and professional institutions of Odisha so that the aspiring job seekers can have a direct feel of the start-up eco-system of India which is going to brighten up further.
We have associated with some of start-ups of our state who are conducting a “BOUQUET” Internship-cum-Placements” drive in our college which is an excellent and novel concept. It is happening for the first time in the state of Odisha. About 15 startups in a group under this “BOUQUET” will be visiting our college on 13th January to conduct a common written test of about 1(One) hour consisting of Aptitude and Reasoning. This is meant for students across all branches and across 4th year, 3rd year and 2nd years BTech as well as MBA/ BBA and MCA/BCA. Students will be shortlisted for next rounds depending on their performance in this one hour test.
Registration form for the drive is available in the following links for the interested students who should register by 11 AM of 13.01.2017 to take part in the forthcoming on-line test tomorrow.
All registering students may also see a separate link provided below regarding all the individual companies of the bouquet. Students should familarise themselves with domains / areas where the companies are working and about their other details, not only from the data provided here but also from the individual websites. Accordingly they should make up their minds regarding their first 5(Five) choices (Final year students may opt for jobs or internship or both).
Just before the test begins tomorrow, each individual student will be asked to offer five choices in order of merit. Depending on the scores and other details of the students and their choices, the companies will be calling individual students separately to the their offices for conducting the interviews/further process for internship / job and confirmations of selections will be intimated both to the students individually and also to the college.
We wish that our students participate in this with interest. This One-of-its-kind BOUQUET drive for internship (As well as final placements) will prove to be very helpful. We wish them all the best.
