| Skills Needed | • Assisting Senior Engineers: You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers, shadowing them and assisting with various tasks.
• Learning and Development: The role is designed for learning and development, with opportunities to gain practical experience in the steel industry. • Project Support: You’ll contribute to ongoing projects, potentially including planning, design, execution, and documentation. • Data Analysis and Reporting: You may be involved in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on engineering data. • Following Procedures and Standards: You’ll learn and adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures. • Continuous Improvement: You’ll be encouraged to identify areas for improvement and contribute to process enhancements.
Specific Tasks (Depending on Department)
• Manufacturing/Production: Assisting with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment; monitoring production processes; and ensuring quality standards are met. • Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance and repair of equipment, identifying potential issues, and contributing to preventive maintenance programs. • Project Management: Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and execution; preparing reports and presentations; and coordinating with other departments. • Design: Assisting with the design of steel products or processes, using CAD software and other tools. • Quality Control: Participating in quality control activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
