OPTCL, Power Training Centre, Chandaka is the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) accredited Category-I Training Centre. The Centre is committed to Training & Development of all Engineers and Technicians of OPTCL and other power Utilities of the country. Since 2002, hundreds of Degree / Diploma / ITI students of different Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics from Odisha and outside states have been receiving Vocational Training/ Internship in Theoretical and Practical aspects of Transmission and Distribution Systems.

B. Tech students of EE & EEE discipline can avail the 30 days Summer Internship Programme on “Transmission & Distribution System” at PTC, Chandaka. The training shall be conducted in several batches starting from 1st week of May 2019 to end of July 2019.
