Some specific responsibilities include:
Ø Analyse products, understand their potential and have the ability to recommend purchase
Ø Ability to interpret data and make decisions
Ø Handle large sets of data and provide logical solutions to any issues
Ø Business analyst should be able to understand critical data and have ability to process them
Ø Candidate should be able to make positive contributions to the overall program by constantly trying to optimize the process flows
Ø Developing with Pricing team overall pricing strategy and promotional calendar across categories to drive sales and profit goals, by conducting relevant market research on competitors and products
Ø Determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, brands and use cases, managing vendors, negotiating, and optimizing vendor terms.
Ø Coordinating with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of all online backend operations – Inventory, Sourcing, CMT, Shipping, Finance, listing, sales etc. and suggest and simplify processes for smooth functioning of operations
Ø Should have out of the box thinking ability to come up with creative solutions to issues at hand
Ø Work with the team on larger goals which define the outcome of overall process goals and targets
Required Skills:
Ø Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Ø Strong decision-maker.
Ø Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Ø Strong Mathematical approach
