Primary responsibilities of Health and Education Managers (HESM’s)-:
HESM Job Overview Outline:
1: – Center Visits & Monitoring
2: – Student & Class Management
3: – Recruitment of Tutor and CHF/ANM
4: – Fee Collection & Records
5: – Oversee room rental agreements and ensure proper documentation.
6: – Submit necessary documents to regional and head offices as required.
Duties of the Health and Education Managers-HESM’s-:
Health Services: –
- HESM’s will ensure two Centers Visit at their visit day for observing different programs of health department related to CHC.
- HESM must go to the branch and there they must meet with all the CHF & discuss with them all the programs & collect Performance Sheets.
- HESM must ensure that CHF Recruitment is done on time.
- During CHC visits, HESM’s should check medicine expiry dates, make sure patient and medicine registers are updated, verify doctor’s slips have registration numbers and signatures, ensure medical equipment like stethoscopes and BP machines are available, and confirm doctors stamp and sign prescriptions if using plain paper
- HESM must renew their CHC room arrangement before the upcoming expiration month.
- All the registers should be updated on regular basis: –
- CHFs/HCAs attendance register, MDR & MSR register.
- CHC Asset register (assets with serial number of assets).
- Visitor remark register
- Key register of CHC handover and takeover daily.
- M- Swasth application should be installed at all CHC computers and video call must be made through google meet .
Education Services
- HESMs must visit CEC centers monthly, ensuring proper documentation, equipment, and SOP adherence.
- HESMs must visit CEC centers each month to check records, equipment, and follow procedures.
- They will help with student grading, ensure classes are running, and organize parent-teacher meetings.
- HESMs need to update student attendance, enrollments, and collect fees on time.
- If a teacher leaves, HESMs must help find a replacement within 7 days and keep teacher records.
- HESMs must manage agreements for rented spaces and submit necessary documents to the offices.
