| Job Description | Role Overview:
The Purchase Trainee will support the procurement team in sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase order creation, and material follow-ups. The role involves learning the complete procurement cycle and ensuring timely supply of materials as per project and production requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Assist in sourcing suppliers for raw materials, components, and services. · Collect and compare quotations from vendors to support cost analysis. · Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) and assist in drafting Purchase Orders (PO). · Coordinate with suppliers for delivery schedules, order status, and documentation. · Maintain vendor database and update price lists and terms. · Support in negotiation and follow-ups for pricing, delivery, and payment terms. · Work closely with the production, stores, and accounts teams for material planning and invoice clearance. · Track material deliveries and ensure timely availability at the plant. · Assist in preparing procurement reports, MIS, and documentation. · Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards. |
