Amazon India invites the 2017,2018 & 2019 pass out candidates to take this Online Coding Challenge and participate in a fast-track hiring process for Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) role in Amazon Consumer Tech Teams. These teams are working on building various exciting consumer products like Amazon Pay & overall Shopping.

About the SDE Role:
We are looking for developers at Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai to design and build next-generation shopping & payments solutions that revolutionize the shopping experience for our customers and the way we do payments on-delivery (and convert cash payments into electronic balance).
We are looking for experienced software developers who are passionate about delivering high-quality platform solutions that support a variety of customer use cases at Amazon scale. They would define/implement complex encryption/decryption technologies to securely process transactions at amazon retail scale without compromising customer information. This platform will have multiple innovations and will also be designed to support other emerging economies which have similar requirements like India and the role provides a huge opportunity for the developers to build a strong portfolio of patents for Amazon.
Developers in the team need a strong understanding of computer fundamentals (like coding/algorithms/data structures/problem solving, etc.) and practical experience in building large scale distributed systems.
Experience with multi-tier web-based applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, is helpful.
