Work Environment

·         Testing Laboratory, Refinery, Plant, or field-based locations

·         May require shift duties, working at heights, or confined spaces depending on specific job conditions

Position Summary

·         Candidate is responsible for performing Non-Destructive Examination of various materials, components, and weldments to evaluate integrity, detect defects, and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and customer specifications

·         The role involves conducting inspections, interpreting results, preparing reports, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and quality throughout all NDE activities

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform NDE inspections using methods such as RT, UT, VT, MT, PT, LT, and ET (based on job requirement)

·         Follow relevant codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, AWS, etc.

·         Ensure compliance with safety, radiation protection, and QMS requirements

·         Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, film records, and documentation

·         Review job requirements, technical specifications, procedures, and drawings prior to inspection

·         Interpret and evaluate test results to identify discontinuities or defects
